School Triathlon

“Yes!!” I said as we start the triathlon. As I wait in line I think about the track once, just to make sure that I don’t go off track.

Finally it was my turn. As I walked to the pool I stared at the crystal clear water. It looked cold and endless. Ok, I thought maybe it is a bit cold. When I sat on the side I put my foot in. Brrrrrrrrr! That is cold. “Go!!” says the teacher. I shivered once and then dived in. Now that I was in it felt a bit warmer. But that’s no reason to stop. I kept on going but it did get a bit tiring. After the swim it was time for the bike. I ran to get my helmet. Once I got it, it was time to start biking. Creak!! went the bike as I wheeled it to the track and started to ride. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh!!! The triathlon was a bit hard but I still kept on going.

Finally I reached the finish of the biking and by then l had started panting. I still had to do the run. I headed out to the transition area and ran. I ran all the way to the finish line.
