Hot Air Balloon art

For art we created hot air balloons we used pastel for the background we used dry and black PVA glue for the balloon. We weaved the basket. My favorite part was doing the PVA.

Skittles

In our skittles writing we have been how to show not tell witch is when you have to describe the senses, not telling them. I need to work on adding punctuation. I am good at including adjectives in my writing.

Collaborative Bird

We made a collaborative bird. We each made feathers and then we stuck them together this is what it looks like.

We used chalk, white crayon and dye to create the feathers.

  

Dr. Seuss

We made illustrations for our favourite Dr. Seuss quote. This is mine.

Measuring Length

For maths we have been learning about measurement. So I have created a DLO (digital learning object). Here is an explanation video.

What Am I?

We made kites. First we made the frame. Next we laid the newspaper on the frame. Finally we stuck all of the pieces together and then you have a kite.

Science Fair

We have been learning to complete science investigations. We learnt about the scientific method . There is a science fair at Ohaeawai.
